The theme of this week's posts will be MAD magazine.
I've been filling in at the magazine for a few months; their art department was temporarily two people short. My work involves putting together articles and books, designing, sketching up ideas, attending the occasional brainstorming meeting, and roaming the halls trying to look busy.
Today, I'm displaying the found-art creation I've assembled on my office door. It's made up of the daily passes allowing me access to MAD's 30th-floor fortress, serving also as proof that I'm actually showing up.
Art aside, there's a bit of a puzzle to be found in this collage, however slight. The days read down, Monday through Friday, with the weeks reading left to right. So the yellow tag in the upper left is Monday of the first week in April. May continues below.
I took this photo on Friday, May 27, before putting that day's tag up.
The question: What color will it be ... and how sure are you?
The answer is HERE.
