ASSIGNMENT: Test Google's "similar image" search. Here are the results using my photo on the left:

VERDICT: Things start decently but go south quickly.
GOOD: All the photos feature a human head in front of a leafy background.
BAD: Facial expression, glasses, hair, race, age, and sex are of little importance.
AND: Funny thing is, I actually know the person in the top row, second from right.

SEARCH YOURSELF: Using a desktop or laptop computer, go to Google Images and click on the camera icon under the logo. Follow the instructions, which will bring you to a page where you'll want to scroll down to the heading, "Visually similar images." Click on that and find who Google thinks you look like.
